2025 SE Automation Team Collaboration Award Winners

During our Annual Sales Retreat, we recognized team members who consistently show what true collaboration looks like—working across teams, sharing expertise, and partnering with others to deliver real solutions for customers.

This year, congratulations to Sam Brikowski and Henry Karlzon, winners of the 2025 SE Automation Team Collaboration Award.

🏆Congratulations to Henry Karlzon (left) and Sam Brikowski (right), recipients of the 2025 SE Automation Team Collaboration Award! 🏆

A great example of that collaboration played out with one of our partners, a local Systems Integrator, who was contracted by an OEM to develop a control system for a Food & Beverage application. During that same period, two of their engineers attended SE Automation’s free TIA Portal PLC and HMI workshops—and the new Siemens S7-1200 G2 was released. The combination of hands-on training and the new platform sparked their interest, so they purchased an S7-1200 G2 PLC and Unified Basic HMI for in-house testing. The result: they specified the S7-1200 G2 PLC and Unified Basic HMI for the project.

Sam played a key role in helping customers transition from legacy platforms to Siemens by pairing technical knowledge with hands-on support. Through engaging presentations, lunch-and-learns, and fast, reliable follow-up, Sam helped turn initial evaluations into long-term standards. His efforts helped establish SE Automation as a trusted advisor, opening the door to expanded opportunities across Siemens and complementary product lines.

From there, Henry helped take the project from a solid spec to a smooth execution by providing value-added services like enclosure modifications and kitting—creating a more efficient and cost-effective procurement and assembly process for the partner.

Congrats again to Sam and Henry for leading by example and showing how collaboration drives results. 👏
